SPC Project Manager

Vacancy available for a Project Officer.

We are looking for a Project Officer to work with our small central team to help reach our objectives in transforming primary care across Sussex. You will have all the benefits of working alongside a large NHS trust and the agility and pace of change you would expect from a small business.

Main purpose of role:

The Project Officer will be actively involved in supporting the delivery and leading on new projects and services being delivered by SPC, either independently or through our practices. They will work under the Service Development Manager to support the design of solutions, from research and process design, to the implementation and communication of materials and training.

An integral part of the central SPC team contributing on innovations around transforming primary care and stabilising new practices coming on board.

We are looking for a candidate that is able to work independently and within a team. The post holder must be able to work to tight deadlines, with a passion for service development, improvement and evidence based change. You must have excellent communication and engagement skills and be both effective and comfortable operating within a fast paced and demanding environment.

  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
